This is a list of 100 of the greatest PS2 games ever released. Apr 29, 2009  ok im not going to search through this whole entire forum so i will get to my point: Does anyone have a list of ALL PS2 games that suppose progressive. PS2 games that output 240p via component may not be displayed either. A quick and dirty solution is to keep the original composite cables plugged into the TV, with the other end near the PS2. Then just swap cables when switching to a PS1 game. This will also blur some of the worst jagged edges and pixelation PS1 games are prone to on.

As many of you may know, games like Mega Man X Collection, Virtual Console games, etc. all support, or are programmed in 240p resolution. Something I've come to learn the hard way is that many HDTVs don't support unconventional resolutions; the common ones are 480i/480p, 720p, 1080i/1080p, but rarely 240p.
Why Nintendo decided to release or default VC games on the Wii to be that way is beyond me.
The reason for me bringing this up is for a few reasons, one, I wish to play the MMX collection and two, I prefer to avoid using horribly inferior composite cables as that's the only viable solution for playing at 240p resolution. A major oversight on Capcom's part since most Snes almost never went past 256x224 and PSX games rarely exceeded 320x240.
Would buying a component to HDMI converter (or some converter box) be one way to overcome the HDTV limitation?
TV model: Vizio E320VA 32' LCD
Supported Resolutions: 480i all the way up to 1080i.
