Don't worry - I waited so long for answer to the problem that I went elsewhere and found the solution.
I changed to Windows 10 after buying a new HP PC on Windows 8.1.
Mar 29, 2018 - What you need is: Utorrent: Power Iso: Flight Simulator X: Download Power iso virtual CD/DVD manager, or some other program for virtual.
My main interest is using Flight Simulators but none of them would work on Windows 10.
I hold CFS2, CFS3,Fs2004 and FSX + Acceleration. Despite checking with Microsoft Compatibility none of my sims would work. Looking a bit deeper into this I saw that many people on the internet had the same problem, so I decided that I would stay with Windows 10 and forget Flight Simulators!!!
I then found that another company had the rights to FSX and sold a version called ' Microsoft Flight Simulator X : Steam Edition' (Contact Dovetail Games.) I bought it and it still gave problems!
However, I searched through STEAMS community and found the following:
'Update or reinstall the Display Adapter.
a. Press Windows Key + X and select Device Manager.
b. Search for Display Adapter and expand it.
c. Rt. click on Display Adapter and select update the driver/Uninstall.

d. Install the latest driver from the manufacturers website.'
I used the above on 15.9.15 and everything worked including the following: FSX, FSX SteamEdition, and CFS3.
Everything still works perfectly.
