This is an Army/Air Force Mummy Style sleeping bag that is feather filled and has a cover that comes with it. It is size Regular and is just over 6' long and is musty and needs cleaning. The sleeping bag is identified by the following tags and stencils on the bag. 'Sleeping Bag, Mountain, M-1949 Type 1 DSA-1-8039, 8, Size Regular, Feather Filled, To Be laundered in accordance with Formula G, D/A Technical manual TM 10-354. US is Stamped on the outside of the sleeping Bag. This bag comes with a snap type cover. This Sleeping Bag belonged to my Father-in-Law who was a rescue pilot in the Air Force during WWII and Korea and Viet Nam and retired in 1967. Check out the pictures. Don't miss this one.
